About Charisma Costumes

Larry and Beverly Crain,  opened Charisma Costumes on August 1, 2006 after purchasing Costumes 2000 from the Carl's, who owned the business in Buena Park for 10 years. 

You might recognize Larry as the former owner of Charisma Floats, a company that creates and builds floats for the Pasadena Rose Parade and exclusively for the Fiesta Bowl Parade in Phoenix.  His company also handles the floral production for the Academy Awards. 

Beverly has been a voice and opera instructor at Azusa Pacific University for 20 years.  Her responsibilities have included private voice training, opera production stage direction and this year, the music direction.  She has supervised the making of costumes for the productions in the past, as well as for various church productions.  She remains an active singer, private voice teacher, and composer.

Charisma Costumes features a full range of costumes for rent and for sale.  We are acquiring new costumes on a regular basis.  We also will custom-make costumes for special occasions, theatrical productions, or church pageants.  We also carry a full line of Ben Nye make-up, Graftobian, and some Mehron.  We have costume accessories, masks, and many wigs from which to choose.  Because of our float and opera connections, we also feature props for rent.
